In 2016 I discovered digital collage. Since I’ve always loved cinema, I made a series about obsessive female film characters, and it’s still the work that gets the most attention from both clients and social media.
Then I moved into advertising. There was no time for little pleasures like collage, but I learned realistic photomontage, which was in demand there. The second poster, made in 2020, shows how much my skills changed.
Still, when I show people both, they tend to prefer the older piece, even though it’s less polished technically.
