🚀 UX Case Study: Redesigning FitLif to Improve Retention & Revenue
Recently, I worked on a product design case study for FitLif, a fitness & wellness app that was experiencing a 40% drop in paid subscriptions and significant user drop-offs after the free trial period.
The challenge wasn’t traffic — it was retention.
After reviewing user behavior, funnel analytics, and engagement data, a few core problems became clear:
• Users didn’t understand the app’s value quickly during onboarding • The conversion flow had too much friction before payment • Motivation dropped sharply after sign-up due to poor progress visibility
Using a Design Thinking approach, I reworked the experience from onboarding to retention, focusing on clarity, speed, and habit formation.
