PORTAL BREACH — ANOTHER DIMENSION
What if reality could tear itself apart?
An ordinary tunnel. A mysterious energy source. A dimensional portal that opens, pulses, and collapses back into nothing.
For this experiment, I explored cinematic portal effects using AI-assisted editing, custom shaders, animated keyframes, energy distortion, and procedural visual effects.
From a clean cinematic scene to an otherworldly anomaly — built through an iterative creative workflow.

Zero Gravity: A Cinematic AI Sci-Fi Story
Overview:
An AI-generated cinematic short exploring a world where gravity suddenly fails. Following the protagonist, Kai, from an ordinary morning routine to floating high above the Earth’s atmosphere, this piece blends surreal visual storytelling with dramatic voice-over narration and audio design.
My Role & Process:
Storyboarding & Narrative: Conceptualized the scene-by-scene script and narrative arc exploring cosmic perspective and human resilience.
AI Visual Generation: Curated and directed visual prompts to maintain consistent character design (Kai) and cinematic lighting across varied environments (interior, city chaos, space).
Voice-Over & Audio: Scripted and produced cinematic narration via ElevenLabs, paired with atmospheric sound design.

For this build, I designed and animated a gothic portcullis interactive UI element triggered by a glowing gemstone mechanism.
What I focused on for this experiment:
End-to-end vector design in Rive: Built entirely from scratch inside Rive to dust off my vectoring skills and master its native pathing/drawing tools.
Interactive State Machines: Configured the click logic using listener triggers to handle the open/close state loop smoothly.
Gothic UI Aesthetics: Balanced heavy metallic structures with subtle vector lighting to keep that dark fantasy feel.
