An emotional animated short film about Alzheimer’s and the quiet tragedy of fading memories.
A father does not recognize his son at all. He simply notices a young man standing in front of him, happy about a promotion. Sensing the joy, he congratulates him and offers a warm hug — not as a father, but as a kind stranger sharing the moment. After the embrace, he gently asks, “Who are you?”
Even if he cannot feel the fatherly emotion anymore, the moment is still precious. Sometimes love exists silently, without recognition. It reminds us that even when memories fade, these small human connections remain meaningful — and we should preserve them in our own beautiful memories.
All frames are hand-drawn in IBIS Paint and animated using CapCut, with final assembly and editing completed in CapCut Video Studio.
