Design advice is like life advice, deeply personal and context-driven. When someone shares their process, they’re describing what worked for them, within their own challenges, goals, and constraints.
But you’re not them. Your project is unique, shaped by its own problems, team, and resources. Copying someone else’s process can backfire because it ignores your specific context.
Learn from others, yes, but adapt, don’t adopt. The most effective design process isn’t universal; it’s intentional. Build one that fits your needs, your product, and your users.
When you stop generalizing and start designing your own way of working, that’s when you unlock originality and create solutions that actually work.
