Most digital design is built on rigid boundaries, predefined templates, and strict goals. For the launch of LUCERRÁ, we wanted to do something completely different. Over the last few months, I have been obsessed with an abstract question: What happens when you build a digital experience without a roadmap, letting internal philosophy and raw intuition dictate the final product? Today, we are officially launching lucerra.co alongside an intimate behind-the-scenes that pulls back the curtain on how we translated a void, a monolith of light, and a 3D ink brush into reality. This wouldn't have been possible without the incredible team that carried this vision across the finish line. A heartfelt thanks to the whole LUCERRÁ team for the commitment in this crazy abstract journey and a special thanks to Mooders for an amazing partnership on the beautiful Music Production. BTS Documentary is now live on official Lucerrá Vimeo & Ytube channels : https://vimeo.com/1218951518?fl=pl&fe=sh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ao6j953gSM

This is the kind of post that makes me want to click through immediately. Letting philosophy and intuition drive the outcome instead of a roadmap sounds freeing but also terrifying, was there a point mid-project where you almost pulled it back toward something safer?

Building around an abstract question instead of a spec is a bold way to launch something client-facing. Now that it's live and the documentary is out, how has the reaction been from people who expected the more templated version of this kind of site?

Letting internal philosophy and raw intuition dictate the final product instead of a roadmap is a rare thing to admit in a launch post, most of these lead with strategy decks. The black and white BTS treatment against all that abstract 3D work is a smart contrast too. What was...

Building without a fixed template is exactly where three.js earns its keep, since the medium rewards designing the feeling first and letting the system express it. My one practical note from shipping experiential sites: keep an escape hatch for performance and reduced motion, so...
