RED SPIDER LILY 🌺

A quiet afternoon in rural Japan becomes the last normal day of Akari Shirakawa’s life.

When Akari’s identical twin, Hana, casually borrows her clothes, neither sister realizes how much that small decision will matter. Akari leaves home on an ordinary errand. Hours later, she returns to find her family murdered.

Far away, a hidden organization receives confirmation:

AKARI SHIRAKAWA THREAT LEVEL: 94 ELIMINATED

There’s only one problem.

Akari is still alive.

Red Spider Lily is a psychological conspiracy thriller about a young woman whose ordinary life is destroyed after a mysterious organization marks her for elimination. The pilot introduces Akari, her family, the unexplained disappearances surrounding their world, her mother’s secretive phone call, and the mistake that changes Akari’s life forever.

The pilot is designed as the beginning of an ongoing micro-series rather than a standalone short, with the mystery of why Akari was classified as Threat Level 94 driving the larger story.

Where the series goes next

Akari begins following the trail behind her family’s deaths while trying to understand why anyone wanted her eliminated in the first place.

As the series continues, she uncovers the truth behind the recent disappearances, the organization responsible for them, what her mother was hiding from her, and why a system identified Akari as an extreme threat before she had done anything to deserve that classification.

The deeper she investigates, the more the story asks whether the organization was trying to prevent a future threat—or whether killing her family is what ultimately creates one.
