Anyone else still figuring out what true rest looks like as a freelancer?
One thing I am learning through freelancing is how hard it is to rest. When your work feels like a reflection of who you are, it becomes easy to stay “on” even when the laptop is closed.
There is no clock-out time, no clear separation between weekdays and weekends. It is both freeing and exhausting.
But at the same time, I have never felt this fulfilled. Every project I take on feels aligned with something I care about deeply. And that kind of fulfillment makes the learning curve worth it.
