Testing a new testimonial section for my portfolio. Previously, testimonials were part of the About Me section. You can see that version at https://agfolio.framer.ai/ This time, I explored a dedicated testimonial section. Which one feels better to you?

I think I like carousel better. Scroll appear just seems a bit chaotic.

Thanks for the insight. Noted. I’m still exploring both approaches.

This depends a lot on how many testimonials you want to show and if you want users to read them in detail. A scroll interaction helps guide people through the testimonials you’re sharing, assuming that’s the intention.

That’s a fair point. Intent and content depth really matter here. Thanks for feedback

usability wise the scroll version is better as it isnt asking users to make additional clicks to move forward

That’s a good point from a usability perspective.

I prefer the Scroll appear version! It feels more organic as the user moves down the page and keeps the engagement high without requiring an extra click.

A dedicated section wins for credibility and conversion because it separates “who you are” from “what people experienced working with you.”
