groteska.studio does it for me
It‘s not an A or B question. Think about your business a few years ago and possible pivots you might make. If you still imagine it being a studio, then either of the options would do. But if Groteska grows beyond being a studio, then neither of the options would capture its success.
Thank you, great insight! As far as the plan goes, Groteska will always be a Design / Creative studio. We are currently working on a product that may launch as a separate company, who knows.
If you can buy the .com for a decent price that would be my vote. But it mainly depends on your target audience. E.g. If you handed my mom a business card with "groteska.studio" printed on it I'm not sure if she would realize that's a URL she could visit.
I actually have both, I redirect .com one to .studio
Currently, everything is down as we are doing a major website update :)
