I used to get mediocre outputs because I saw my prompt as the final word. Then Sabrina Ramonov shared her free prompt library on Notion. My favorite is variations of: "Clarifying questions should be asked until 95% confidence is reached for task completion." I usually like to tack it on my first prompt to help guide my own thought process. It instantly shifts the dynamic from "Tell me the answer" to "Let's figure this out." It helps me provide clarity, add aditional context, and forces the rigor on identifying edge cases needed for complex tasks!

Great insight, Andres! The reminder to treat prompts as conversations, not commands, really hit me. Thanks for sharing the prompt library too — super helpful!

So swearing at it and calling it a clanker is not the right approach?
