I made a huge, expensive mistake.

A few months ago, a freelance coaching agency reached out to me to see if I’d be interested in chatting about my current client outreach strategy. I thought I had nothing to lose, so I hopped on a call with their salesperson.

Long story short, I got scammed. What they had promised would be a long-term partnership that could lead to consistent $10k months turned out to be a total waste of time and $$. Their outreach methods were spammy, messages to potential clients riddled with typos, and overall unprofessional behavior that makes me cringe to this day.

The lesson? Believe in yourself, your work, and the probability that the right clients will find you. Optimize and strategize. And maybe think twice before handing over your LinkedIn account login to people you don’t know. 😅
