Concept Statement The "Recycling & Sustainability Guide" app offers a clean, minimalistic, and user-friendly mobile experience designed to empower users on their eco-friendly journey. Through intuitive navigation, accessible features, and engaging content ranging from nearby recycling stations to community events—the app fosters a sense of community and environmental responsibility. Its modern aesthetic, harmonious color palette, and thoughtful interactions aim to motivate sustainable habits while ensuring accessibility and responsiveness across devices, making environmental action easy, engaging, and integrated into daily life.

The design process began with thorough user experience (UX) research to understand the needs and behaviors of environmentally conscious users, followed by creating detailed wireframes to visualize the app's structure and flow. I prioritized a cohesive visual identity by selecting a calming color palette, modern typography, and consistent iconography to enhance accessibility and aesthetic appeal. Tools like Figma Make facilitated collaborative design, enabling iterative feedback and refinement, while prototyping features such as animations and interactions helped simulate a seamless user journey. The benefits of this community-centered app extend beyond individual actions, as it encourages collective participation, awareness, and sharing of sustainable practices, making environmental responsibility accessible and engaging for everyone.
