My small, minimal portfolio template for designers has been pretty successful in terms of sales.
At the same time, my much bigger template for a creative agency has only sold once.
That made me think that maybe it makes more sense to build smaller templates for solo designers, freelancers, small businesses, etc.
They take less time to build, and the target audience is probably more likely to actually buy a template. Bigger companies and agencies might be more likely to go for something custom anyway.
Then I released my architecture studio template, and it started selling pretty well too.
So that kind of broke my theory 😅
Maybe company size isn't really the deciding factor at all, and niche matters much more than I thought.
What do you think about this? Would love to hear your thoughts.

The NINE50 code takes 50% off everything until 10 October, so All-Access is $129.50 for the lot.
A week ago no-code.supply opened with six. Four drops later, the last three, Good Dirt, Tidewater and Iris Vey, went live today. It's the shop I wanted to build for years and never had the time for, made with an AI coding agent doing the typing and me doing the directing.
That's the full set for now. Thanks to everyone who followed along.
I made a free agent skill for Framer template creators. It QAs a template before it goes on the Marketplace: checks the editor project, the live site on every breakpoint, and SEO and AEO, fixes clear issues, and adds a getting-started guide for buyers.
