Overview

Lúna is a skincare and wellness website concept designed to create a calm and premium digital shopping experience for beauty and skincare consumers. The platform combines clean visuals, natural branding, and modern e-commerce design principles to create a trustworthy skincare experience.

Problem

Many skincare websites feel overcrowded, overly commercial, or visually inconsistent, making it difficult for users to connect emotionally with the brand.

Common problems include: Poor product presentation, Cluttered layouts, Weak brand storytelling, Overwhelming shopping experiences.

Goal

The goal was to design a modern skincare website that:

Feels calm and luxurious

Highlights product quality clearly

Improves browsing experience

Strengthens brand trust

Encourages product exploration and purchases

Design Solution

I designed a clean and elegant skincare experience with: Minimalist layouts, Large lifestyle imagery, Product-focused sections, Natural color palettes, Spacious typography, Soft visual hierarchy

The interface was intentionally designed to create a peaceful and premium browsing atmosphere.

Outcome

The final design delivers a premium skincare browsing experience that improves product presentation, strengthens brand trust, and creates a visually calming shopping atmosphere.

How good of a web designer is AI?

I put Claude Design to the test asking it to redesign my client's product inventory page I built in Framer. In under 10min it produced 2 variations. Neither can go on client's website directly but it surfaced two years' worth of overlooked improvements I can implement manually.

The gap between AI output and production-ready website is there, but in the hands of a web designer who knows what to do with the output, it has a valuable place in the workflow.

Feels like AI isn’t replacing the designer, it’s just speeding up the "thinking layer". Like you said, it surfaces things we somehow miss for months. Still needs a human eye to make it actually usable, but as a brainstorming partner, it’s kind of crazy good.
