SIGNAL is an automated, self-healing web scraper and local RAG system designed to eliminate manual debugging when target websites change layout. It scrapes documentation via Bright Data, monitors data extraction health, and uses AI to automatically rewrite broken selectors. Ingested data is indexed into a local ChromaDB instance to serve fast, free Q&A queries.
Self-healing selectors is the part most scrapers skip. How do you decide a rewritten selector is correct and not just returning something plausible? A small set of known-good values to check against after each repair would catch silent drift.
