a next-generation booking platform that turns your personal AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) into your dedicated travel agent for booking tours in Rome.
Marco, a local tour guide, knows that modern travelers use AI to plan their trips. Instead of forcing users through traditional UI funnels, he decided to let their AI agents interact directly with his website.

The Tourist Experience: Zero Friction
Finding the perfect tour is usually a complex chore—searching, filtering, saving favorites, filling out forms, cross-checking availability, and reading through cancellation policies.
Marco’s website eliminates all of this. From now on, that is your agent's job. You simply tell your personal AI what you are looking for, and it does the searching, filtering, and booking for you, you just need to say "confirm and book".
The Guide Experience: Autonomous Operations
Marco doesn't want to spend hours manually managing bookings, answering repetitive emails, or updating calendars. Instead, he uses his own AI agent to handle daily operations, problem-solve edge cases, and run data analysis. His agent does the heavy lifting, leaving Marco with the final say—the "last call" to approve or decline.
🎒 What the Website Exposes to the Tourist’s Agent. Through Web MCP, the traveler's AI agent can natively interact with the site to handle the entire booking lifecycle:
Browsing Tours & Stops - get_tour_packs: Lists Marco's curated tour packages, filterable by interest, price, duration, and walking intensity. - get_tour_details: Retrieves the full details of a specific package. - get_available_stops: Browses individual stops and landmarks by district, category, or accessibility (e.g., step-free access).
Building the Itinerary - select_tour_pack: Chooses a curated package as the base itinerary. - set_itinerary_stops: Assembles a custom route consisting of two to six specific stops.
Dates & Times - check_date_availability: Lists every open start time on a given date. - validate_requested_time: Checks whether a specific date and time work around Marco's existing tours and transit times.
Booking - update_booking_draft: Pre-fills the on-screen booking drawer dynamically without submitting it. - submit_tour_reservation: Stages the booking for review, then finalizes it on a second call (confirm=true).
Managing an Existing Booking - lookup_my_booking: Opens an existing reservation using its reference number. - cancel_booking: A two-step process that previews the refund amount before confirming the cancellation. - request_booking_reschedule: Previews a new time slot before officially moving the tour. - respond_to_counter_proposal: Accepts or declines a counter-proposed time from Marco.
Information Retrieval - get_guide_info: Reads Marco's bio and public policies, including cancellation terms, accessibility info, and pricing.

Marco’s agent acts as his digital manager, with deep access to the site's backend and operations:
Announcements & UI Control - create_announcement: Posts a dynamic banner (up to 180 characters) on the landing and booking pages. - update_announcement: Edits the currently active banner. - remove_announcement: Instantly takes the banner down.
Bookings & Inbox Management - filter_bookings: Filters the live booking dashboard by status, tour type, date, or text. ("Action needed" pulls up the review queue). - get_booking_details: Retrieves the complete file on a single booking, including contact links and a markdown-formatted brief. - get_guide_inbox: Provides a read-only view of new bookings, flagged requests, reschedules, and cancellations. - mark_inbox_read: Clears pending notifications.
Briefings & Planning - brief_me: Generates a spoken-style briefing of upcoming events and highlights welcome emails that need to be sent. - generate_day_sheet: Creates a daily run-sheet containing meeting spots, contacts, dietary/accessibility alerts, and transit gaps between tours. - get_guide_info: Retrieves Marco's bio and policies for context when answering guest queries.
Resolving Requests - approve_pending_request: Approves a flagged booking, with options to add a note or override the price. - propose_counter_time: Sends the guest an alternative start time with a provided reason (e.g., adding a transit buffer). - batch_resolve_inquiries: Reviews all pending requests at once—auto-approving clean bookings while applying custom decisions to edge cases. - brief_and_stage_actions: Stages a recommended action for each flagged item, applying only the ones Marco approves. - resolve_flagged_booking: Builds a resolution for a single flagged booking and commits it.
Changing Availability - cancel_booking: Processes a cancellation under the 48-hour policy (granting a full refund, 50% refund, or flagging it for manual review). - request_booking_reschedule: Moves a booking. Clean slots are confirmed instantly; tight turnarounds are flagged for Marco's review. - set_schedule_override: Blocks out full days, specific time windows, or opens custom working hours (e.g., blocking out November 1st).
Guest Communication - send_guest_update: Dispatches updates regarding weather, meeting points, attire, or timing to a single guest or everyone booked on a specific date. - get_pending_welcome_emails: Lists confirmed bookings that are still waiting for a welcome message. - mark_welcome_email_sent: Logs that a welcome email has been dispatched.
Money & Analytics - export_accounting_summary: Generates a financial ledger for a specific date range, including tax estimates, exportable as CSV or Markdown. - generate_booking_invoice: Creates a formal invoice for a specific booking. - analyze_tour_data: Runs analytics on the most popular tours, busiest times, average party sizes, and cancellation rates.
