Multi-tier pricing that updates live as you add pairs is the hard part to get right in native Liquid, most builds either hardcode the tiers or end up calling an app API on every quantity change. Curious whether the discount math runs client-side off a price map or you're hitting a line-item script/function on the backend for it.
For this implementation, the tier pricing is handled through custom JavaScript on the frontend, which updates the displayed price dynamically based on the selected quantity/pairs. We’re not calling an app API on every quantity change.
That's the right split, keeps checkout honest even if someone disables JS or edits the DOM since Shopify still owns the real price. Are the tiers separate variants under the hood, or one variant with the discount applied through a cart line-item property at checkout?
