A high-retention VSL-style sales video created for an AI automation agency, combining talking-head footage, direct-response storytelling, motion graphics, kinetic typography, B-roll, visual effects, and strategic pacing.

The goal was to turn a long-form sales script into a dynamic video that keeps viewers engaged while clearly communicating the business opportunity, pain points, offer, proof, and CTA.

I structured the edit around the script’s key beats, using visual changes and motion to maintain attention throughout the video. Talking-head sections are supported with relevant B-roll, animated text, graphics, screen-style visuals, transitions, and emphasis effects to reinforce important points rather than simply decorating the footage.

Editing Focus

• Direct-response VSL editing • Talking-head editing • Retention-focused pacing • Kinetic typography and motion graphics • B-roll selection and visual storytelling • Animated statistics and key claims • Dynamic transitions and visual effects • Sound design and music • Strategic emphasis on hooks, proof, offers, and CTAs • Professional color correction and finishing

The edit was designed to feel fast, modern, and engaging while still allowing the sales message to remain clear and easy to follow.

Cutting a long sales script into a fast edit without losing the offer is tough. Did you edit the talking head first or the motion pass?
