While working on the dark mode of this product, I discovered that designing for dark themes goes beyond just flipping a switch from white to black. Colors behave differently in dark environments, and here are a few lessons that stood out to me: Contrast is everything On dark backgrounds, colors appear more vibrant and saturated than they do on light mode. This means subtle shades in light mode can look too strong in dark mode if not adjusted.
