🚀 The Shopify Admin just got a new look The place merchants spend hours running their business is getting a significant UI refresh. Starting September 15, Shopify began gradually rolling out a new admin experience across every page. What changed? → New colors, typography, spacing, and icons → Search moves into the side navigation → Notifications and the store picker move there too → The navigation can collapse to give you more working space → Sidekick becomes a floating chat accessible from every page The important part isn’t just the visual refresh. It’s reducing the amount of interface between a merchant and the work they’re trying to get done. Search, store switching, alerts, apps, channels, and Sidekick are increasingly accessible from one consistent navigation layer. And there’s nothing merchants need to configure. The new experience is rolling out gradually and will appear automatically. Small UI changes become meaningful when they’re applied to a workspace merchants use every single day.
