The book deals with trauma, forgiveness, and family history, so the editing aimed to make the message clear and the tone steady, supportive, and sincere. I improved flow, structure, and consistency across chapters while keeping the author’s voice and personal conviction intact. A proofreading pass then caught grammar, spelling, and punctuation issues, so the final text read cleanly. After that, I formatted the interior for both print and ebook, building a paperback layout and a Kindle edition that reads well on screen. The last stage was publishing: setting up the Amazon listing with metadata, categories, and pricing, enrolling the Kindle edition in Kindle Unlimited, and releasing both formats.
