My role: Full-Stack Developer
Tech: Flutter • React • Firebase • Cloudinary🎉🧠
GenZCleaning covers a lot of ground, reporting, driver workflows, GPS tracking, rewards. Flutter + React + Firebase + Cloudinary is a solid stack for a platform with this many moving parts.
Honestly, I'd probably lean toward Supabase alongside Firebase for the relational parts, waste reports, pickup assignments, driver earnings all have clear relationships that get awkward in a pure NoSQL structure once you start querying across roles. I ran into the same tradeoff...
Coordinating citizens, volunteers, and drivers in one platform means you need reliable real-time location updates and status syncing across three different user roles, Firebase's realtime database or Firestore listeners are a solid fit for that kind of multi-actor coordination.
Anytime! Real time sync across multiple roles is one of those things that looks simple on paper but gets tricky fast once drivers, volunteers, and citizens all need different views of the same data. Good luck with GenZCleaning.
