For the Lovable challenge on Contra, we wanted to build something real, not a demo.
We built a consultation booking portal within the 200 challenge credits and put it live on our own domain. Clients pick a slot, get a Google Meet invite, sign an NDA and receive reminders before the call, with no manual emails from us.
It’s already in real use. We’re getting consultation requests and bookings from actual clients through it, and that’s the part we’re happiest about.
I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself and share a little milestone from my freelance journey.
I've been working as a designer for almost 8 years now, and I'm grateful to have maintained a 100% Job Success Score and Top Rated status on Upwork.
It's been a long journey of learning, improving, working with amazing clients, and sometimes spending way too many hours perfecting a design. 😅
I recently joined Contra and upgraded to Pro. Really excited to explore this platform, meet other creatives, and hopefully find some great projects here too!
I actually have a question for the experienced freelancers here.
Does Contra Pro help you get discovered by clients and receive project inquiries organically? Or do most of you find your own clients and bring them to Contra?
I'm still figuring out how things work here, so I'd genuinely love to hear about your experiences.
Any tips for someone who's experienced in freelancing but completely new to Contra?
Just shipped Facework: a Framer template for nurse-led med spas.
Most med spa templates show a serum bottle and a list of brand names. Facework starts from the face: tap a spot and you see the treatment, the time in the chair, the price and how long it holds.
→ Treatments sorted by zone of the face, each with its own CMS page
→ A timeline of how long each treatment holds and the week you'd see the client again
→ A Result Viewer that switches one series between day 0, day 14 and month 3
→ A Visit page with a dark street map, an "Open now" line and an "Ask a nurse" form
10 pages, 7 CMS collections, 3 code components. A 13-step Start Here page and 3 Agent Skills come with it.
