Every year the monsoon arrives and takes over — the sky, the earth, the air, the people. I've never seen a film made to celebrate that. So I made one.

Built entirely on Envato. No music — just the sounds of the monsoon itself. Every creative call was a human one: what to search for, what to reject, when to pull the music out, when to go black and white, when to stop.

The tools were Envato's. The vision was mine. The monsoon did the rest.

This is the making of Monsoon. Feel it. — my entry for the Envato Human by Design challenge. The brief I gave myself was simple. Put the audience inside the Indian monsoon. What followed was anything but simple. The making video shows the process — the searches, the dead ends, the moments where instinct took over from the plan. I made a monsoon film. No actors. No music. No crew. Every year the monsoon comes back, and every year it catches you off guard — the weight of it, the smell of it, the way it changes everything around you without asking permission. Nobody had made a film that put you inside that. So I did. This is my entry for the Envato Human by Design challenge — a mock tourism film for India, not about the monsoon, but from inside it. What happens when you give an old piece a dark mode and a pair of sunglasses? 🕶️

I took a piece from my portfolio and ran it through Krea 3 to see how far I could push it while keeping the original composition.

Before → light and daytime. After → dark mode, with sunglasses.

Where it helped: quick edits that kept the composition intact, making it easy to explore a different mood. Where I’d still go by hand: final color balance, lens reflections, and those tiny details that make everything feel intentional.
