Project Overview:
This project is a high-energy, short-form video focusing on precise audio-visual synchronization. Using footage from Jujutsu Kaisen, the goal was to capture the character's distinct personality through rapid cuts, smooth transition effects, and a highly engaging upbeat rhythm.
The Workflow & Technique:
Precision Beat-Syncing: Carefully mapped out the timeline so that every major visual shift, zoom, and impact point lands exactly on the beat of the track, creating a satisfying and hypnotic loop.
Dynamic Transitions: Utilized motion blur, directional zooms, and speed-ramping to maintain high visual momentum without disorienting the viewer.
Software Stack: Handled the complex sequencing and rapid-fire cutting within Premiere Pro, while leveraging DaVinci Resolve to polish the final visual flow and ensure the pacing felt kinetic and professional.
The Result:
A highly engaging, retention-optimized short video that demonstrates how to take existing 2D assets and inject them with fresh energy, perfect for social media platforms like TikTok, Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
