I designed this charming Bear character for the Dojowell wellness app, where it acts as a personal companion on the user’s journey to self-improvement. The Bear responds dynamically to user actions with a range of expressive reactions: encouraging, motivating, and celebrating progress every step of the way. As users advance through levels, the character evolves too, changing outfits to reflect their growth and achievements.

The animations I brought to life in Rive, powered by a multi-layered state machine. This system enables real-time control over the character’s outfits, actions, and facial expressions, while also supporting smooth transitions between Light and Dark modes creating an engaging, responsive, and immersive user experience.
