One month ago, I decided to learn cybersecurity from zero.
I had no Linux experience. No Bash. No Python.
Today:
10+ Linux commands on muscle memory
Built my first Bash script: System Info Collector
Captured and analyzed HTTP traffic with Wireshark
Documented every step (terminal logs, notes, reflections)
GitHub portfolio is live
Why I'm posting this: I'm looking for automation work, Linux support, or QA testing.
If you need help or know someone who does, I'd appreciate a connection.

Solid first month, the system info collector script is a good starting project since it forces you to touch subprocess/os basics early. One tip from the automation side: once you're comfortable with Bash, Python's subprocess + argparse will make these scripts portable across machines, worth a look for your next project.
