A month ago, a friend called me asking about AI agents. She said something that stuck with me: “I don’t really understand it… but I see everyone rushing somewhere, and I feel like I should too.”
So I created a Telegram channel for non-technical women — structured, simple, step-by-step posts about AI and tools.
No ads. People are subscribing organically from my other platforms. The content is basically what many sell as paid courses.
But here’s what surprised me:Most of my real-life acquaintances don’t engage at all. They read — I’m sure of it — but almost no reactions.
Meanwhile, strangers from other platforms generated more discussion in 2 days than Telegram did in a month.
It made me think:
👉 Is it a platform behavior issue? 👉 A cultural thing? 👉 Or just how “silent consumption” works in niche educational content?
Now I’m considering switching to English to test a broader audience.
Curious — how do you see Telegram today? Do you use it for learning, or mostly stick to WhatsApp/other platforms?
