DreamLight is an all-in-one, beautifully designed sleep time companion built to transform bedtime routines into a calming, seamless experience. Crafted with a soothing, deep-green glowing aesthetic, the app offers a curated suite of features tailored to help users unwind and drift into deep sleep:
Custom Nightlight Feature: Adjustable brightness, soft glow color palettes, and firefly speed effects to create the perfect ambient room lighting.
Soothing Melodies: High-quality, calming audio tracks, soundscapes (like The Forest Wind), and dynamic visualizers to ease mind tension.
Bedtime Stories: An integrated library of gentle, engaging tales (such as The Glowing Grove and Firefly Fields) with an easy-to-use "Choose a Story" navigation.
Smart Sleep Timer: A set-and-forget countdown timer (with options like 15 min, 30 min, or Always On) that ensures the app quietly powers down once you are asleep.
Developer Review: Google Stitch & AI Studio
As part of my development cycle, I integrated Google, Google AI Studio, and Netlify into my workflow. Below is my review of how the Google Stitch process empowered me to build an engaging and visually stunning product.
Master Prompt Magic
The process was an incredible showcase of AI-driven design consistency. By leveraging Google AI Studio, we were able to engineer a single master prompt that performed two vital tasks simultaneously:
It extracted my exact brand color codes directly out of the prompt instructions.
It took a single reference picture we provided and perfectly translated it into my final, adorable star and moon mascot character.
Seamless, Rapid Iteration
Using Google Stitch allowed me to bypass traditional, tedious design to code bottlenecks. The workflow made it incredibly easy to continuously refine my process. I pushed through multiple rapid versions, smoothly transitioning from my initial concepts until I seamlessly landed on the very last iteration of my app.
The Verdict
The entire ecosystem felt intuitive and remarkably fluid. What usually requires intense back and forth asset generation was condensed into a streamlined, highly efficient pipeline. It made creating an engaging, cohesive, and beautiful user interface feel relatively easy resulting in a fantastic overall product that I am incredibly proud to enter into this competition.
People need to study this — it’s textbook greatness.

Bringing ideas to life faster with Google Stitch ✨
For this challenge, I explored how Stitch can transform a simple concept into a fully interactive creative experience using AI-powered workflows.
The project started with just two things:
📄 a custom design.md creative direction file
🖼️ a logo image for the project identity
Using Stitch’s new capabilities, the entire website was generated directly inside the canvas through streaming generations — turning concepts into a live experience in real time.
But it didn’t stop at generation.
I continued refining the project using:
⏩ prompt-based in-place AI editing
🖱️ point-and-click interactions directly inside Stitch
🎥 native motion, animation, shaders, and hover states on HTML canvas
🚀 one-click export support directly to Netlify
What makes this even more impressive is how Stitch combines the workflow of 4–5 different creative applications into one single platform — generation, editing, interaction design, motion, prototyping, and deployment all inside one experience.
From concept → iteration → interaction → deployment, the entire workflow stayed inside Stitch.
This experience shows how AI can dramatically speed up creative production while still allowing full artistic control and experimentation.
