AI Business Categorization Engine
I built a 4-step automation using Make.com and Google Gemini AI that processes business data automatically.
How it works:
Trigger: New rows added to Google Sheets start the workflow
Data Cleanup: Tools module organizes and formats the raw data
AI Analysis: Google Gemini AI categorizes each business by type (Restaurant, Gym, Retail, etc.), assigns priority level, and identifies US region
Results Storage: AI-generated insights are saved back to a new Google Sheet
Business Impact:
Saves 5–10 hours of manual data entry per week
Ensures 100% consistent categorization across thousands of entries
Creates searchable database of AI-analyzed businesses
Runs automatically every 15 minutes

I built an agentic AI workflow builder inside @Figma Make and used it to create this entire page workflow. This just shows how powerful Figma Make is.
The builder is a visual drag-and-drop canvas that links AI agents, tools, and data into automated workflows. Each node runs an agent or action and passes its output to the next. You can add conditions, loops, retries, and error handling, and even pan the canvas.
My favorite details: when you add an action node, there’s a subtle ripple under it, and you can also move nodes with your keyboard.
