Webflow Interactions 2.0: Animations Without a Single Line of Code
Webflow's interaction engine is genuinely impressive. Scroll-based animations, hover states, page load sequences, mouse movement parallax, all visual, all no-code.
My favorite trick: use scroll-into-view triggers to stagger-reveal feature cards with a 0.1s delay between each.
Feels custom-coded, takes 5 minutes to build.
The key is subtlety, animate opacity and transform, not everything at once.
Less is always more with motion.

What if the map wasn't a utility but the entire game world?
That was the core decision on SideQuest.
A location-based social app. But not the usual: no flat pins, no generic list views, no "events near you" cards buried in a feed.
The brief was real-world gamification. Playful. Spatial. But actually functional.
So I built a 3D isometric city as the home screen. Streets become quest zones. Every pin has a mission type: Challenge, Workout, Live, Events, or Player. Movement earns XP worth chasing.
One map. Infinite reasons to step outside. That's the whole app in one screen.
Five activity types. No boring filter tabs. All experiences live together: 5K Morning Run, Sunset Rooftop Meetup, and Live Now, each with XP rewards, coin drops, and real people going.
Sky-blue world, floating 3D buildings, animated pulse rings as intentional depth not decoration, core interaction design.
Would you have kept the map flat or built the whole world in 3D?
Excellent work. It's clear a lot of thought went into both the strategy and the visual execution.
This is a quick motion design exploration focused on fluid lighting, glass refraction, and smooth easing. I wanted to see how a simple shape could feel incredibly premium just by manipulating light and shadow.
While my day-to-day work is focused on creating clear, high-converting product videos for B2B SaaS companies, I constantly experiment with these high-end visual techniques. When applied to SaaS landing pages, onboarding videos, or UI animations, this level of visual polish instantly makes a software product feel more established, modern, and trustworthy.
