Kleine Welten Post — one day in 2026, as issued in 1922
The find: Kandinsky's Kleine Welten ("Small Worlds"), 1922 lithographs made at the Bauhaus, from SMK's public-domain collection. Tiny, self-contained worlds — like postage stamps.
The idea: in 1922 a post office receives a letter describing one ordinary day in 2026 and issues a stamp set for it. Ten stamps, 06:30 to 23:40 — phone alarms, robot vacuums, video calls in pyjamas, delivery drones, dating apps, one more episode.
The process: built a Recraft V4 Style from two cropped plates, generated each scene in Recraft, set all ten in one matching stamp frame, and cut an 8-second looping flip-book with an original soundtrack.
