Today I visited the Pantone website to look at the 2026 Color of the Year, Cloud Dancer, and unexpectedly found a dedicated playlist. I decided to play it while working on a mobile app design and ended up listening to all three-plus hours 😊
Music has long been part of my work process. I usually turn it on while designing because it helps me focus, block out distractions, and get into a flow state faster. When a playlist matches the mood of the task, time seems to pass almost unnoticed.
The music in this playlist is quite varied, so it was interesting not just to leave it playing in the background, but to listen to how different tracks convey the mood of Cloud Dancer. I liked the idea of expressing a color not only through palettes and visual imagery, but also through sound. It creates a more complete experience around the color and makes it possible to feel it in a slightly different way.

I also like listening to music when I work, but sometimes I get hooked on detective stories😂
Sometimes I work in silence, sometimes listening to some calm lo-fi, and sometimes I'm making some loud hip-hop concert for my neighbors 😁
