I reimagined Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s The Harvesters (1565) in the 2000–2026 era. I preserved the original composition, harvest landscape, large tree, resting workers, and seasonal feeling, while replacing traditional agricultural labor with modern harvesting machines, tractors, modern farm buildings, roads, and contemporary clothing. I wanted to show how the relationship between people, farming, and nature has changed over time while keeping the spirit of the original artwork.
