🚀 WordPress to Next.js & Django Migration
I worked on a platform that was slowing down due to WordPress limits. Heavy traffic, API needs, and SEO requirements made scaling difficult.
My manager needed a faster system that kept all SEO value while migrating the customized content. I suggested rebuilding with Next.js for speed and Django for a scalable backend.
1️⃣ I wrote custom scripts to migrate WordPress data into a clean Django schema.
2️⃣ I converted rich text, HTML, and styles into Next.js compatible components.
The new platform launched with faster load times, better SEO, and a scalable structure that’s far easier to maintain.
