Your Figma file is perfect. Your live website is... a rough draft of it. Last month a client sent me their Figma mockups and I almost laughed — beautiful, pixel-perfect, every screen annotated. Then I opened their actual site. Different fonts. Buttons that had clearly changed shape along the way. And the mobile version? Looked like nobody had ever opened it on a phone. Here is what usually goes wrong. The design gets approved, everyone claps, and then it travels to development with no real instructions. No spacing rules, no note about what each screen does on a small screen. So the developer guesses. And guessing is where the drift starts. Honestly, the fix is not another design review. It is one page of handoff notes with the design — spacing, breakpoints, what each screen does on mobile. Nothing fancy. When I build from Figma now, I ask for that page first. Saves everyone the "this does not look like the design" conversation later. Where does it usually fall apart for you — the desktop details, or mobile? #WebDesign #Figma #UIUX
