Regardless of our political preferences, we can all agree that Zohran Mamdani’s campaign for New York mayor achieved something we’re not used to see in political visual identities: it took inspiration from the city itself! 🗽🚕 This identity work, created by Forge Design, dives deep into a style that is impossible to miss, thanks to it’s vibrant colors and Bollywood inspired typography - elements that take inspiration from the city’s bodegas, yellow cabs, metro cards and Mamdani’s cultural heritage.
