I conducted an AI-accelerated audit of a high-level executive offer letter to identify "career-limiting" clauses. Using Claude, I performed a deep-dive analysis of intellectual property (IP) ownership and post-employment restrictions that are often buried in standard hiring documents.
Key Deliverables:
IP Protection Analysis: Flagged an overreaching "Work for Hire" clause that claimed ownership of the candidate's personal projects and side businesses.
Restrictive Covenant Review: Identified an unenforceable 24-month non-compete clause and provided data-backed alternatives for negotiation.
Negotiation Roadmap: Delivered a concise, "Plain English" guide for the candidate to use during their final compensation meeting.
The Result:
By applying Business Workflow Automation to the legal review process, I provided the client with a comprehensive risk report in under 10 minutes, allowing them to negotiate from a position of strength and secure their personal IP rights.
