I decided to participate in the @GiveItAGlow challenge by @Base44 on Contra with a project focused on giving a real local business the digital presence it deserves.
For this challenge, I chose Strafrutta, a fresh fruit business that sells high-quality products directly to customers.
The before:
Their website didnāt communicate the quality, freshness, or green identity of the brand. The homepage mainly showed the location, with little storytelling or emotional connection. The shop experience felt outdated, difficult to use, and had a poor UX that created friction during the buying process.
The after:
I redesigned the entire experience into a modern, vibrant, and user-friendly platform.
The homepage combines Base44ās clean and structured design language with interactive 3D elements, bringing fruit products to life while maintaining excellent responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile. I introduced warmer colors, premium product photography, and a more welcoming visual identity to reflect the quality of Strafruttaās products.
The shop experience was rebuilt with a focus on usability, allowing customers to easily browse products, use filters, and complete their purchase journey smoothly.
But the goal wasnāt only a better-looking website ā it was creating a tool that helps the business operate better.
I added:
š AI chatbot assistant āMimmoā
A lead-generation assistant that collects customer requests, understands their needs, and sends qualified messages directly to the admin team for follow-up.
š¦ Admin management system
A dedicated dashboard where Strafrutta can:
Manage orders
Track customer requests from the chatbot
Update, add, or remove products
Manage stock availability
ā Digital loyalty card
Customers can track their purchases, monitor their progress, and see how close they are to unlocking their next reward.
The result is a platform that connects customers directly with Strafrutta while giving the business modern tools for sales, customer support, inventory management, and retention.

I hope this challenge goes well because my next step would be presenting this solution directly to Strafrutta and helping them bring this experience into their real business.
