3 mistakes I see every GoHighLevel user making that creates 100s of duplicate leads:
No deduplication logic between Facebook Lead Ads → GHL
No AI check for same phone/email with different name
No Google Sheets backup before pushing to GHL

I'd check the Facebook lead ID deterministically to catch a replay of the same event before asking AI to compare separate submissions. How does your flow handle two n8n executions arriving together before either has written to GHL?
Good idea! Yes, I check Facebook lead ID first (deterministic). If same ID = replay. If different ID but same phone/email, then I run AI fuzzy match. Saves API cost too!
Do you normalize phone numbers before the match (strip spaces, dashes, the + and the country code)? The same number typed two ways slips past an exact match, and that is where a lot of the "different name, same person" duplicates come from.
Clean flow. The part I'd watch is the "maybe" pile: couples often share one email or one phone, so a strict duplicate check can silently drop a real second lead. I'd send those to a review tab in the Sheet instead of skipping them. What does yours do with a likely-but-not-certain match?
Great catch Zakaria! You're 100% right - couples sharing email/phone is a real edge case. My flow handles it like this: If only 1 field matches (just email OR just phone), I don't delete - I send to "Maybe Duplicates" tab in Google Sheet with score 60%. If 2+ fields match...
