FIX Security product design insights Pt/1
One UX challenge in this redesign was making compliance data understandable at a glance.
Instead of presenting users with another complex security table, I designed a heatmap that helps teams instantly spot compliance gaps across accounts and frameworks.
Key decisions:
• Visual-first risk identification using color and percentages
• Comparison-focused layout for faster decision-making
• Progressive disclosure to balance detail and usability
The goal was to make compliance issues impossible to miss for users so they can identify the security risks in their cloud network immediately.
