Cursor is actually goated.
A client sent me a website built on Lovable and asked me to recreate it in WordPress.
I told him straight up "I don’t like this website. Let me completely revamp it and build it properly in Framer."
He said no.
It had to be WordPress.
I immediately rejected the project because, honestly, I never want to work with WordPress again. That’s where I started, but now it just frustrates me.
But the client kept insisting.
So I finally agreed, but gave him a very long deadline because I thought I’d have to rebuild everything manually.
Then I found a WordPress MCP plugin.
I didn’t want to burn my Codex or Claude limits on a WordPress project, so I opened Cursor and used Composer 2.5.
A few hours later, the entire website was ready.
Less than 5% of my usage limit was consumed.
Of course, I still had to fix and tweak a few things, but compared to building the whole thing from scratch?
This felt illegal.
I still don’t like WordPress.
But Cursor made it tolerable.
