Recycling is complicated, so I usually just throw things in the trash.
I wanted to do better, but rules change, labels are unclear, and after a few mistakes, people stop trying.
So I built SORTA around a different idea. Recycling isn’t about being perfect. It’s about getting better over time.
With SORTA, you scan an item you’re holding. The app shows how to recycle it properly and, for harder items, suggests nearby disposal or recycling options based on your location.
