The new version wins for me because the repeated wordmark gives it an immediate point of view. My quick test would be whether someone can still name what you do and open one relevant case study within ten seconds.
I kept noticing that iOS Photos grid-to-detail interaction and figured I'd try rebuilding it for the web.
Tap a photo, and it expands from the thumbnail. Drag down to dismiss. A few details I spent some extra time working on:
- Spring physics instead of fixed durations
- Rubber-band resistance when dragging
- Keyboard + screen reader support
- Reduced motion support
Built in React with a small spring engine I wrote myself. No animation library.
This is really impressive!
