Built my first app called CueNow. It's a sticky note app for Mac.

My idea was pretty simple: A note app that gets rid of all the excessive features, doesn't act like a second brain and just stays on your screen while you work on your important stuff or switch between apps.

Open a note. Type something important. Keep moving. CueNow is completely free forever. You don't need to have any account and it works locally in your Mac, so your data never ever leaves your system.

One letter. Five categories. Under a minute.

I designed a word game where the whole tension sits in the timer – so the interface had to get out of the way. Dark screen, one bright wheel, score chips you can read without stopping.

The color coded letter wheel against that dark screen is such a smart way to keep the tension readable under a timer, the score chips staying out of the way is a nice touch too. Was the under a minute pacing something you landed on through playtesting, or mostly gut feel from the start?
