I remember my first client was quite patient, as at the very beginning, of course, I didn't always understand what he was asking of me due to my inexperience. I'm grateful to him and was very glad that five years ago, they first came to me for my work.

I'm trying to understand something about Contra.

I've spent time improving my profile, building my portfolio, and tailoring my applications to the projects I apply for. Yet, one thing hasn't changed.

I still haven't received a single "Client viewed your application" notification.

That made me wonder if I'm focusing on the wrong things.

For those who've found success on Contra, what had the biggest impact in the beginning? Was it consistency, a stronger portfolio, a more complete profile, or something I might not be considering?
