High-Fashion Visual Identity & Editorial Layout: Lilli Collins
Engineered a minimalist, editorial-grade visual identity system and promotional portfolio framework for a personal wardrobe stylist and creative consultant. Leveraged high-contrast layouts, avant-garde typography, and texturized product presentation frames to cultivate an elite, publication-quality brand footprint.
Core Responsibilities
Avant-Garde Typography Engineering: Designed a high-impact, custom typographic logomark combining interlocking geometric letters with an integrated copyright emblem to establish premium ownership and luxury positioning.
Editorial Layout Architecture: Formulated a minimalist grid template that maximizes whitespace, positioning subtle business metadata alongside focal imagery to evoke the feeling of a premium physical fashion lookbook.
Textural Asset Layering: Conceptualized and executed a distinct visual style that drops sharp, dark fashion objects (like the glossy pointed-toe boot) inside crinkled cellophane textures to give flat digital portfolios a tactile, physical dimension.
Cross-Industry Brand Integration: Harmoniously integrated operational micro-copy (such as studio links and contact fields) into the margins, ensuring the design remains functional for client acquisition without sacrificing high-fashion aesthetics.

Design has one job — make people feel something before they think something.
For the #ConfigMakeathon, I built a complete digital campaign experience for Butterfly Conservation's "Britain's Favourite Butterfly" — taking a public vote and transforming it into something people actually want to be part of.
The challenge wasn't technical. It was human. How do you make someone genuinely care about a species they've never noticed? How do you turn conservation data into something personal? How do you design an experience that moves people from passive viewers to active participants?
The answer was architecture — three distinct experiences working as one:
🗳️ Results Explorer — A fully filterable species discovery system built around personality vibes, wing colours, and rarity. Not a leaderboard. A world worth exploring.
🧬 Personality Quiz — A matching experience that gives every user a butterfly identity rooted in real behavioural traits. Flashy. Feisty. Adventurous. Rare. When someone sees themselves in a species, the relationship changes entirely.
🌿 Conservation Narrative — A story-first approach to ecological data that earns its urgency rather than demanding it. The stakes land harder when you already have a favourite.
This is the kind of work I find most meaningful — where design isn't decoration, it's the strategy itself.

I present Doodle Fonts, my entry for Config Makeathon.
Making a custom typeface can be very complex and time consuming. Nearly every designer who wants a weird little display font for one project ends up licensing something generic, begging a type designer for a favor, learning a new complex pipeline or quietly giving up. Custom type is gatekept — not by talent, but by tooling. The most personal element of a brand is the one most people aren't allowed to touch.
Doodle Fonts fixes that. It's a font foundry that fits inside a canvas. You draw each glyph — freehand pencil, shapes, a dot grid, whatever feels right — across a full 96-character set covering upper, lower, numbers and punctuation. The whole alphabet renders live as you go, every font is saved to a library with an "X / 96 drawn" progress count, and when you're done you export a real, working, installable OTF font file.
It's built with Figma Make so it runs where designers already live, with Supabase handling auth and storage so your fonts follow you across sessions.
Display and brand type doesn't need PhD-level kerning — it needs personality. Doodle Fonts collapses "learn pro software + lose a weekend" into "doodle for twenty minutes," turning type design from a specialist skill into something anyone on a team can do.
