Building an AI-Powered EdTech Platform — A Full-Stack Case Study

One of the core challenges in education is that students don't know what they don't know.

I designed and developed a complete EdTech platform that addresses this problem through AI-driven personalized learning — combining a desktop app, mobile app, and an intelligent memory system.

Platform Overview

The system manages three types of users — Admins, Teachers, and Students — each with a dedicated experience.

Teachers can upload video courses and PDF materials, set individual pricing per content, and communicate directly with their students through an integrated chat system.

Students browse available content, purchase access to specific videos or PDFs, and engage with the AI learning assistant to measure and improve their retention

The AI Memory System

This is the core feature of the platform.

After studying a lesson, the student uploads the PDF and records a vocal explanation of what they understood. The AI pipeline then:

Converts speech to text using Gemini 2.5 Flash

Analyzes the transcription against the original PDF content

Identifies knowledge gaps with precision

Generates targeted questions focused exclusively on weak areas

The result is a personalized study session based on what the student actually needs — not what they already know
