What if a hospital didn’t have to feel like a place you want to escape from?
The modernist architecture of Pljevlja Hospital, Montenegro, reveals something unexpected: a ceiling light that reads more like an architectural statement than a technical detail, a green atrium that pulls nature into the healing space, and the mountain, not as a backdrop, but as part of the experience.
We designed this space believing that architecture can do more than function, it can support healing.
Maybe the real question is: can architecture heal alongside medicine?
